Chittorgarh Fort: Chittorgarh fort with the legacy of glorious past and formidable present is the major attraction for tourists in Chittorgarh. The fort was built on a hillock , 300 feet high, spread over a wide area of 700 acres of terrains. The fort is an architectural marvel.
Kirti Stambh: Kirti Stambh, a 22 meter high seven storied tower known as Tower of Fame, is a Jain tower devoted to the the first Jain Teerthankar Adinath. This Jain tower is very impressive and is a complex structural extravaganza with carvings, balconies and niches. Naked figures of various Jain teerthankars are carved on the tower of Fame. The seventh floor offers a panoramic view of the whole Chittorgarh city.
Maha Sati: Maha Sati, a sacred place to cremate the Udaipur rulers, is located at a place Ahar in Chittorgarh. A main attraction in Maha Sati is a natural reservoir named Gangodbhawa Kund and mythological stories claim that a tributary of Ganges flows underground and emerges here as Ahar river from where this Kund originated.
Padmini's Palace: is situated inside the majestic Chittorgarh Fort. A beautiful lotus pond is located nearby the palace. It is believed that it was in this palace the Sultan Alauddin Khilji saw the reflection of the beautiful Rani Padmini in a mirror which was located in the main hall of the palace. Overwhelmed by the eternal beauty, the Sultan decided to make Rani his own and eventually this desire led to the conquering of Chittorgarh.
Rana Kumbha's Palace: a 15th century old mammoth monument, is enclosed within the Chittorgarh fort. It is believed that the palace holds underground cellars, and the folk stories claim that it was here in these cellars Rani Padmini and other women folks in the royal palace performed Jauhar.
Vijay Stambha: The Victory tower or Vijaya Stambh was built by Maharana Kumba in 1440 AD and is inside the Chittorgarh Fort. This is a patriotic masterpiece built to comemorate the victory of the Kingdom over the intruder Mohammed Khilji.

By Air: Chittorgarh is connected by air through Dabok Airport, also known as Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur, and is 90 km away from the city centre. Taxi charges about Rs 1500 from Dabok airport to Chittorgarh. This airport connects to Jaipur and Delhi. Nearest International airport is New Delhi.
By Train: Chittorgarh railway station is well connected to all major cities in India including Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Udaipur and Delhi.
By Bus: Frequent bus services are available from Chittorgarh to all major cities in the state and neighboring states. Many tourist buses provide services between Chittorgarh and Jaipur (325 km), Indore (325 km) and Ajmer (185 km).
